About us

Cryer's Honey is a family-owned business located in the quaint coastal town of Lytham, Lancashire, focused on delivering both English and exotic honeys for all to enjoy.

What began as a hobby in 2019, after Jack and Lee were introduced to beekeeping at a county show, soon turned into a local business in 2020, with honey produced from their own hives. However, in January 2024, the family faced a significant challenge when Lee experienced a stroke, which impaired his left side and made it impossible for him to continue his work in the family’s landscape gardening business.

Later, it was discovered that Lee's condition was actually Functional Neurological Disorder (FND), which presented similar physical challenges. Unable to continue with physical labour, Lee and his son Jack decided to fully dedicate themselves to founding Cryer's Honey as it is today.
