Harvested from the blossoms of the Manuka tree in New Zealand, which bloom for as little as only 2 weeks in an entire year. This batch is independently tested to contain a minimum of MGO 263+ and NPA 10+, natural markers of quality and antibacterial activity.

How does it taste?
Manuka honey has a bold, distinctive flavour unlike lighter honeys such as our acacia. This grade has a rich, earthy sweetness with subtle herbal and mineral notes, a thick, creamy texture, and a lingering, slightly savoury finish. It’s delicious straight from the spoon, stirred into warm drinks, or drizzled over yogurt.

Manuka honey is graded in two ways:

    - MGO (methylglyoxal) is the natural compound that gives Manuka its famous antibacterial power. The higher the MGO number, the stronger the honey.

    - NPA (Non-Peroxide Activity) is another way of expressing that antibacterial strength. It measures the unique activity that makes Manuka honey special
